In the peaceful capital, the bustling Flower Street has somehow become shrouded in monstrous evil.
At the behest of another, Chu Yezhen, young master of the Jiangnan Chu Clan, comes to the capital to investigate.
Somehow, Zhou Yun, the emperor's maternal uncle, gets caught up in the case by a twist of fate and eagerly comes to help. So much for being a rakish playboy. Fine, I'll reluctantly believe you're so enraged for the sake of a beauty.
But Your Majesty, surely you don't need to care so much about the case just to win a beauty's heart. Why are you sneaking out every day too? Is the tea at the Chu Clan's better than what you get at home? If you come again next time, you'll have to pay!
The young clan leader sighs: I said I didn't want to deal with the court's nonsense. Why does it never end!
