Mahjong: Thirteen Orphans

The internet's little mahjong prodigy returns to the mahjong table after five years away.

A high-stakes prize is announced for an offline meetup tournament based on an online mahjong game. Folk experts emerge one after another, and professional players prove that hidden talents are everywhere. The internet's little mahjong prodigy nervously looks back at his teammates:

# A best buddy who's clueless about numbers but still acts like a know-it-all?

# A mahjong newbie who's always plotting to get with him?

The little prodigy stays calm and composed: "I'm only here to reclaim the throne that should have been mine five years ago."

# An utterly ridiculous, feel-good story that looks like one god carrying two rookies, but is actually three powerhouses taking over the competition.

1. Bottom, hard-core flirt x catlike, aloof top

2. A zero-to-hero pig-blood upgrade story, a light read with some plot holes

3. The little prodigy's skill is the real deal. He just doesn't like showing off early on. Probably satisfying (?) and definitely sweet and flirty (√)

4. Mahjong rules are based on Japanese riichi mahjong. There may be scoring mistakes or modified rules. The mahjong app in the story is a mashup inspired by Tenhou and Mahjong Soul.

5. You don't need to know mahjong to follow the story. Just enjoy the tile calls and the satisfying score!
