This story doesn't follow the original plot, but it definitely won't be angsty. The male lead couldn't bear to put her through that. Here's a tiny spoiler: the leads secretly love each other, but they don't communicate, so they each think the other doesn't love them. And because the male lead is so emotionally clueless, I changed it so the heroine falls in love with him at first sight. Otherwise, we'd have to make him suffer again, since with his EQ he'd never win her over. Forcing her into a relationship might be the only way.
P.S. The male lead will completely lose his memory later, but it won't get angsty.
