After moving, Lin Cheng transfers to Huaifeng No. 1 High School.

The moment she sees her childhood sweetheart in her new class, Lin Cheng, a social butterfly, goes speechless for the first time during something as simple as a self-introduction. One thought fills her mind: "I want to sit with my childhood sweetheart."

Shen Han is the school's unanimously acknowledged heartthrob with a tragic reputation. He was crowned the school's most handsome boy during the first week of term because of his good looks, then shattered countless girls' hearts in no time at all.

But after Lin Cheng arrives, his whole demeanor changes. The heartthrob who never gave any girl the time of day turns out to be completely "obedient" to Lin Cheng.

At the sports meet, an emergency comes up with the basketball team, and they ask Shen Han to step in. He coolly refuses without hesitation: "No."

Lin Cheng tugs at the sleeve of Shen Han's uniform and looks up at him with a little frown. "You're so mean."

Shen Han's heart skips a beat. "..."

He immediately changes his tune, warmly patting a basketball team member on the shoulder. "Refusing is out of the question. I'm in."

Lin Cheng gives him an encouraging hug. "Good luck!"

The sports meet is great in every way, except for Shen Han's conspicuous walk onto the basketball court with his right arm and right leg moving together.

Lin Cheng teases him about it for days. As Shen Han tidies up the stationery she left behind, he mutters, "It's all your fault."

Watching Lin Cheng smile, he can't help calling out to her. "Lin Cheng."

Lin Cheng: "Yeah?"

Her gaze makes Shen Han feel flushed, and the tips of his ears turn red. "Nothing."

It's just that every time he says her name, it feels like the warm sun has come out.
