Only Love

What kind of sparks will fly when an aloof, cold, and arrogant man meets a detached, resolute woman who couldn't care less?

Scene 1:

"I've told you, I'm not interested in you," he says, his indifferent voice ringing out again.

"And I've told you, I'll keep trying until you become completely devoted to me," she replies in a cool voice.

"You're crazy." But he smiles knowingly, leans close to her ear, and says, "You're right. I am crazy, and you're the only one who can cure me."

Scene 2:

"How many innocent girls like me have you fooled with your appearance? Your aloof, cold demeanor is nothing but a front. Being cunning and devious is what you're really good at, isn't it?"

She looks up and sees the radiant smile on his face.

"How else could I win you over? And how could that be called deceiving you? Even if I did deceive someone, it would only be you, and it could only ever be you. Speaking of which, I really should thank someone. I didn't expect you to think so highly of me. Here's a reward."

"Mmm..." He lowers his head and kisses the drowsy woman in his arms. No matter how vast the world, nothing compares to you. I'd level the whole world for you and find you a place where time stands still, all for a chance to see you smile. Anyone who insults you, I'll make them wish they were dead. Anyone who hurts you, I'll make them regret ever being born. Anyone who harms you, I'll make them regret coming into this world. If there's something you don't want to do, I'll do it. If there's something you don't want, I'll take care of it. If there's something you can't bear to do, I'll do it for you. I'll guard this whole world for you, just to protect your pure heart.
