Possessive Devotion

The first time Jiang Yao met Lin Zhixing was at a fire scene.

The man had sharp, starry eyes and wore a formal suit.

He gently gathered her trembling body into his arms and said softly, "Don't be afraid. Uncle will protect you."

The first time Lin Zhixing met Jiang Yao was at an orphanage.

The little girl was like a wolf cub, biting anyone who came near.

But when she saw Lin Zhixing in his wheelchair, she suddenly drew in all her prickles and obediently knelt beside him. In a gentle voice, she asked, "Uncle, does it hurt?"

Everyone knew that the young master of the Lin family had retired because of an injury.

He had a violent temper, and no one in their circles dared to cross him.

Jiang Yao stayed by his side for three years, tending to his every need, but never gaining a title.

Everyone laughed at her, calling her foolish and delusional.

At Lin Zhixing's engagement party, everyone saw Jiang Yao arrive looking devastated and secretly laughed at her for dreaming too big.

Then, in full view of everyone, Lin Zhixing slowly rose from his wheelchair and walked toward Jiang Yao.

Under everyone's gaze, he knelt on one knee and said gently, "Hello, my fiancee!"

I've written a lot about active-duty soldiers, so I wanted to write a story about a firefighter forced to retire because of an injury.

Doctor * Retired firefighter

A healing kind of story. Please give it a chance.
