My Online Date Is My Deskmate

[Gathering inspiration...] Two famous content creators, both with tens of thousands of followers: The renowned artist An Ran and her good friend, a cover singer, are pros at making their followers jealous with their obvious affection. An Ran: It's Qixi Festival today. I'll be drawing on stream. Good friend (reposting): Then I'll sing the background music. Fans: Aaaah, today's dose of affection is being smacked right onto our faces again! An Ran, currently in a large lecture, has no idea this is going on, because the campus heartthrob happens to sit beside her. That voice sounds a little familiar... Across from her, the famously aloof campus beauty stares straight at her. Tang Qi: ...Have we met? An Ran: ...No. Hm, that voice really does sound familiar. Let's test it. So she picks up her phone and messages her good friend: “Something came up. I can't stream together tonight after all.” Good friend: “Oh, okay.” After getting the reply, An Ran immediately glances at the person beside her. There we go. The disappointment on your face couldn't be any more obvious. Reader's guide: The main plot is online. It involves internet culture.
