A short story I wrote a few years ago, starring a little bunny and a little kitty.

Excerpt:
When Sakura Ya, the little bunny of the Sakura clan, was fourteen and a half, she was reading a romance novel when her mother solemnly told her something important: once she turned fifteen, she would be married off to the Mo clan of rabbits in a distant land.
She responded with a "Hmm" and went back to reading.
It wasn't until that evening, while returning a book, that she casually mentioned it to Aile. When the other replied softly, "Then I won't be able to give you books to read anymore," she let out a scream as if waking from a dream, finally realizing how serious marriage was.
