Playing Creator God at Home

Legend has it that a celestial elixir exists in heaven, and whoever takes it will be freed from chronic illness. The hero Yi went through untold hardship to reach the Heavenly Palace and seek the elixir for his dying wife. Qing Chaye looked at the tiny figure who had gone to the trouble of climbing thirteen steps, and at his wife, who had a high fever. Then he took a fever reducer from the drawer. * Legend has it that every life has its appointed span. The sages poured their hearts and souls into creating a calendar, and calculated that every 2,880 years in the mortal realm, the Long Night would descend. The gods would fall into slumber, and demons would crawl out of the abyss. Fortunately, a wise man divined the location of the Spear of Divine Punishment belonging to the Supreme God King. The greatest hero, Hilda, brought it back, allowing humanity to survive the Long Night. Qing Chaye, who left for school on Monday and found the power out, then came home on Saturday: When did my electric fly swatter end up on the first floor? * Legend has it that a hero once glimpsed a devil's ritual from afar. He returned raving mad, and all anyone could glean from his incoherent mutterings was that the devil ate human intestines, human brains, and clotted blood, as well as many-legged monstrosities, scalding them with a viscous red liquid from the fiery pits. Through the white mist, one could just make out indescribable things bobbing up and down. Qing Chaye: Add the duck intestines first, then cook the brain. Toss in the duck blood and octopus too. Ah! The beef balls I added earlier are boiling. They're ready to eat! What would you do if one day the System dropped a bunch of people the size of ants into your home? Qing Chaye: Thanks for asking. Watch cautiously, intervene in moderation... What? They think I'm the Creator God? Oh, that's an accident. After all, myths and legends tend to exaggerate and make things up. * Reader's guide: The male lead's identity is never exposed. --2019.07.21 Theme: There is no end to exploring the mysteries.
