Red and White Roses

Red and White are truly my last lingering attachment to the Heavenly God Mera.

I've written modern-day and comedic fanfic before, but they strayed too far from canon. I've never written a canon-compliant one. I've been thinking about it for a long time, but whenever I get inspired, I come up with too many ideas for the outline, and the beginning and end never quite fit together. Life is full of other things to deal with, and yet somehow I still haven't given up.

I'll do my best to portray my ideal Mera. Both Mei's obsession and uncertainty, and the way my La keeps teetering on the edge of breaking down before trying hard to pull herself back together. There are lots of headcanons, after all, I'm Team La ( ′ ▽ ` )? Hmph.

I lost my Tieba account, so I'm saving my drafts here.

I wrote the opening in 2016, and just like that, almost three years have passed _(:з"∠)_
