[Ready Player One] It's Chibi Maruko-chan!

[Mutual pining] [Online romance] [Sweet romance throughout, no angst]

The heroine is mixed-race, a high school student, and has a protagonist's halo. She's obsessed with games, manga, and snacks, and has social anxiety.

Reader's guide:

1. The characters may be out of character, the protagonist's halo is powerful, and the writing is rough.

2. This is purely a labor of love. I'm sensitive, so if this isn't your thing, please don't read it.

3. I loved Dong and Shu so much after watching Ready Player One, so I started this story. I'll do my best to finish it.
