A few things to know:

1. Both the top and the bottom are good people. The deputy cult leader is a true big shot, ambitious and even more capable, and he's the top. The cult leader is a timid little weakling with even less ambition, and he's the bottom.

2. A cultivation parody focused on romance for a hundred years. This is part of the series that begins with "The Whole Sect Has a Negative Affection Rating for Me". Some characters from that story will appear, but the plots are mostly separate, so you can read this one on its own without a problem.
