Miss Sword Spirit thinks this country called Japan is really interesting!
For example, whether someone has a spiritual root is determined by how many joints their little toe has. Spiritual roots come in all kinds of strange varieties. Oh, right, they call spiritual roots "Quirks" here. Apparently, there's also a group of powerful, righteous heroes with Quirks who often help the public defeat villains!
Miss Sword Spirit nods, understanding. So this is the righteous path and the demonic path!
Then there's a group of cultivators known as espers. They belong to seven major schools, and their leaders are chosen by a stone tablet. Every leader has a huge sword floating above their head.
Miss Sword Spirit thinks they're obviously being controlled. That stone tablet must have cultivated into a spirit!
And then, in a place called Fuyuki City, a battle for a heretical holy relic is held once every sixty years. Seven chosen children, who call themselves magi, are each assigned a summoned spirit. They fight one another to claim the relic.
Miss Sword Spirit looks at the chattering cup in her hand and pouts. This cult's holy relic sure is noisy!
And then there's a well in an inconspicuous little shrine that can transmigrate through time and space.
A few tips:
1. Although Miss Sword Spirit has cultivated for over ten thousand years, in her original world she's still considered a baby at that age. Besides, her former master wasn't a cultivator of the righteous path and spoiled her terribly, so she does whatever she likes, whenever she likes!
2. Miss Sword Spirit's beauty is matched by her martial prowess. Her destructive power is immense! Immense! Immense!
3. Miss Sword Spirit has no romance radar and can't pick up any signals. Everyone has a one-sided crush, and every situation is a battlefield of romantic rivals!
