First of all, thank you to every reader who clicked on this story. This novel grew out of an idea, and builds a family that should not exist in the original HP universe. While writing, I always kept Tagore's "As If in a Summer Flower" beside me. "Stray Birds" runs through the story, and even the protagonist embodies the words, "Live as brilliantly as a summer flower, die as serenely as an autumn leaf."
