Danganronpa: Pure Despair

A new group of sixteen is thrown into a cycle of mutual torment, as Monokuma returns with despair in tow. Who is behind the scenes? Why do memories clash with reality? From the very beginning, there has been nothing but despair. In the battle between hope and despair, which side will consume the other and claim victory?

Miyazaki Yuki had just been given the title of Ultimate when he was inexplicably dragged into a bizarre case. He leads a mysterious girl and reunites with their scattered companions, but the culprit behind it all is watching them as well. Can they survive without being consumed by despair?
