Strumming Your Heartstrings

Su Xian is your typical poor kid from the slums. He can’t afford tutoring or study guides, so he delivers milk early in the morning and studies late into the night.

Zhan Xingzhe is a rebellious son his parents can’t stand. His dreams have been dismissed, and his first love is separated from him by life and death.

The first time Su Xian sees the real Zhan Xingzhe is on a blazing stage.

Under the lights, the man smiles with wild abandon, nothing like the icy classmate who usually sits beside him.

The first time Zhan Xingzhe sees the real Su Xian is when Su Xian’s smile fades.

Tears brim in his eyes, and the despair of his world collapsing burns Zhan Xingzhe’s heart.

He thought his heart had been frozen ever since his first love leapt to her death. He never imagined that love could still stir his heartstrings.
