From Now On, No More Early Court Sessions

Blurb 1 As a thoroughly powerless emperor, Qin Sa only wants to eat, drink, and wait out her reign until she can abdicate. Then one day, she suddenly finds something to live for: flirting with the regent! Qin Sa: They say no one dares touch Minister Shen, not even a tiger. I won't touch him. I'll just give him a pat. Blurb 2 In the history books, emperors generally had two ways of dealing with overmighty ministers. One was to team up with loyal officials and bring him down, like a certain Aisin-Gioro Xuanye. The other was to let him have his way for now, then raise a formidable son to deal with him later, like a certain Aisin-Gioro Yinzhen. Qin Sa, however, takes a different approach. Her predecessors in the history books were all far too blunt. Powerful ministers have feelings, too. They can fall in love. Especially when that minister is so handsome and virtuous. Naturally, she has to deal with him in a different way. [Little Scene] Before she wins him over Qin Sa: (testing the waters) Minister Shen, I'm tired. Can we cancel court today? Shen Fa: (coldly) No. Your Majesty is the Son of Heaven and must lead by example. After she wins him over Qin Sa: (feigning indifference) Shen Fa, it's time for morning court! Shen Fa: (tenderly) Hmm? Sleep a little longer. There's no rush. [The sly empress who plays dumb X the seemingly cold and heartless, aloof regent who is actually possessive to the point of obsession] Reading Guide: * One-on-one, both leads' first time, sweet romance * Fictional setting, no real-life models My main updates are on the modern romance next door. Blurb 1 Ji Shixu, the big shot at No. 1 High School, is cold, mean-tempered, and always ranked dead last. Nobody can beat him in a fight, either, and every student in school is afraid to mess with him. Then a transfer student joins his class. After only a few days, she dares to stand in his way, demand his homework, tell him not to fight, and even report him to their teacher. When Ji Shixu is punished with copying a passage, his underlings decide to drag the transfer student into the woods and beat her up. The moment they enter the woods, she turns the tables and knocks them all flat... Song Ranran snaps a bundle of wooden sticks in half with her bare hands, then smiles sweetly and meekly.
