Serious version: Meng Bu Luo was jolted awake by the earth shaking violently. He had only just come to when he found himself gravely injured and nearly blind.

Yet he was grateful to the person who had left him in such a state. If not for them, he would never have met the one for whom he was willing to give everything.

[He gave it his all, suffering wounds all over without a single regret, because this was what he wanted. All he wished for was a backward glance,

a promise to leave the world behind, and a lifetime together.]

[After giving up everything, all he got in return was those two words: "My friend."]

[I know your heart belongs to all living beings. So I will become one of them. From now on, when you look upon all living beings, you will see me as well.]

[Would you be willing to love me, then?]

Short version: Am I not the one you care for most? [Grabs him by the throat] Why aren't you saying anything!?

XXX: Little friend, I'm entrusting my younger brother to you... [Coughs up blood, grievously wounded]

Meng Bu Luo: Just shut up, will you? With me here, how could you possibly die?

XXX: My fate is nearly at its end. You... give up. Don't keep obsessing over this...

Meng Bu Luo: Shut up! I said I would save you, even if it cost me everything!

XXX: Hahaha... He actually just died like that? Who gave him the nerve!

Meng Bu Luo: Relax, relax. With me here, are you worried he won't come back to life?
