National Treasure Cuisine (1980s)

A Li transmigrates into a book and becomes a poor little girl with no parents and nothing to her name. With her three young siblings in tow, she boards a green train bound for the production corps.

In the 1980s, foreign currency is scarce, and countless foreigners mock China as a culinary wasteland.

A Li: Every mountain and river in our motherland is packed with delicious food!

With her top-tier cooking skills, her little diner serves steaming, plump pork siu mai and salted duck eggs with rich, runny yolks, becoming a sensation with everyone from children to the elderly.

Her hometown is a hidden culinary gem praised to the skies by National Geographic.

Then she opens a factory, sells canned goods, and exports Chinese cuisine overseas to earn foreign currency. Her food becomes the subject of the first Chinese food documentary to air on American television, taking the world by storm.

Life goes on, and then, to her surprise...

Her eldest younger brother, who is obsessed with studying, becomes a scientist!

Her mischievous second younger brother puts on a green military uniform.

Her little sister, who used to stutter, becomes a popular actress.

And the older brother rescued by the neighboring corps refuses to leave her home.

Would you look at that!

She raised a whole bunch of big shots with her own hands.
