[Complete.]
[My new novel, Dad Is Reborn, is open for follows. Your humble author is begging for your support. The blurb is below.]
Blurb:
Jin Li wakes up one morning to find that she has been bound to a Food System.
System: Your mission is to conquer the world with food! You'll be rewarded for doing it. If you don't, you'll die!
Jin Li: Are you crazy, or am I??
At first, she refuses the System, and then she chops her toe while cutting vegetables and gets hit by a car on her way out.
Jin Li watches the nurse miss her vein for the tenth time with a kind smile. I'm the crazy one.
She must be crazy. Once she climbed aboard the System's ship, there was no getting off! After she was bound to the Food System, the things she made could actually cure illnesses!
She had terrible luck right up until the moment she agreed to the System's terms. Then, in the very next second, she became a lucky charm and won a hundred million in the lottery. She couldn't help bursting into tears.
As payment for conquering the world, please let her be crushed to death by money!
A seemingly laid-back but secretly lucky female culinary goddess x a proud, sickly big shot
Reader's Guide:
1. This really is a lucky-charm food novel!
2. The System really isn't the protagonist!
3. Lots of sweetness, fun, and fluff. If I need to take a day off, I'll say so in the author's note and blurb the day before.
4. Sending kisses to all my lovely readers~
Blurb for Dad Is Reborn:
Ran Zhi grew up in a single-parent household.
For the first fifteen years of her life, her father controlled every aspect of it.
Don't practice piano? She'd get hit.
Don't do her homework? She'd get yelled at.
Sneakily play on her phone? Her father would smash it in front of her, even though it was her reward for coming first in the high school entrance exam.
Ran Zhi wanted to study abroad, write novels, and draw, but her father saw those things as a waste of time. She didn't dare try them, and wasn't allowed to.
She had a secret notebook filled with wishes her father would never let her fulfill. It was her Garden of Eden.
But on the first day of her second year of high school, her father found the notebook.
To Ran Zhi's surprise, her father's hand did not come down on her face as it usually did. He merely patted her shoulder gently and said nothing.
After that, Ran Zhi discovered that every wish she'd written in her secret notebook had come true.
After his wife died young, Ran Zheng raised their daughter alone and always adhered to the principle that a tiger's cub won't be a dog.
Ran Zheng was willing to take out loans and work part-time for his daughter, spending tens of thousands on tutoring. All he wanted was for her to amount to something one day, instead of living half her life in mediocrity like he had.
But he put too much pressure on her, and the conflict between Ran Zheng and his daughter grew deeper and deeper.
On the day the college entrance exams ended, his daughter jumped to her death.
Two months later, Ran Zheng woke up to find himself back two years earlier. He was sitting in his daughter's room, holding her secret notebook. His daughter stood at the door with her schoolbag on her back.
Ran Zheng realized that this was the first time he and his daughter had clashed before he was reborn.
Looking at his daughter's deathly pale face, Ran Zheng chose to act differently from how he had in his previous life.
He walked over to her. Instead of yelling at her like he had before, he merely patted her shoulder gently.
In this life, Ran Zheng no longer asked his daughter to achieve great things. All he wanted was for her to live a long, safe life.
Notes:
1. This novel is also known as The High School Study Guide, The New College Entrance Exam Major Selection Guide, and The Study Method That Balances Work and Rest.
2. Although it is the father who is reborn, the protagonist is the female lead.
3. Absolutely no romance while the characters are minors!!! [Once they're adults, anything goes.]
A friend's novel recommendation:
The Rich Wife's Wall-Climbing Plan [Book Transmigration] by Deng Qian Bao Xi
One-line summary:
Her husband is the male lead of a harem novel. She wants to kick him to the curb.
Theme:
The female protagonist has no love interest at all, so she might as well not have a male protagonist and dominate the show by herself! Beautiful alone!
Steak Wellington is an innovative dish, good guy, as expected of you, you can think of this, awesome, how awesome are you?
I don't understand. It is clearly said that the third round is innovation and coordination ability, but the dishes made by Kawaguchi and Lauren were many years ago. (Black question mark face)
Throw flowers, but silently pick up the snacks on the table...
A large wave of Chinese people are about to arrive on the battlefield (laughs
Finished the chase in one day! Confirmed eyes, the author is a Itchy Mouse player
Not bringing a driver's license is just a fine. How come you are driving without a license?
I feel that Kong Xiuran has a higher sense of presence than the male protagonist, and his image is a bit fuller.
The ending is full of flowers, the author wrote it very well! It doesn't have that feeling of being crushed all the way but it's more real! After reading this in one breath, the author's creativity in innovative dishes made me want to try it! Looking forward to the next one~
