I Lure Souls in the Immortal Mountains

Yueya'er is a supposedly useless young woman of the Soul-Hunting Clan, though she refuses to admit it.

One day, she finds a little ghost. She intends to show him off, but he threatens her and forces her to provide for him instead.

She's never one to let herself be taken advantage of, but the first time she suffers a major loss is when this "little ghost" kisses her. Of course, since he's a ghost without a physical body, she lets it slide. But she doesn't believe a word of his promise to take responsibility.

Before they part, he asks her what she wishes for. She casually points at a distant star and says, "I want a star."

Later, atop the supreme Seven Shu Immortal Mountain, he returns victorious from a great battle against demons, clad in white armor and holding a star that shines brilliantly.

"You think I'll marry you just because you brought me a star? No way."

He says helplessly, "If you don't want it, I'll give it to the immortal maiden on neighboring Ziyun Mountain."

Yueya'er snatches it from him. "I'll take the star, but first, I need to set some rules."

From then on, the Immortal Lord of Seven Shu Mountain commands respect by day, but spends every night telling stories to his wife...
