Lu Jingxi inexplicably turns into a cat and gets taken home by the younger sister of his nemesis, Jiang Yu.
Jiang Yu is a fastidious science-and-engineering type. He tells his sister to take the cat to an animal shelter or dump it wherever she found it.
Everyone knows that if no one adopts a cat from a shelter, it might end up being put down!
And if he's thrown outside, he'll go hungry and get chased and bitten by territorial tomcats.
Just as Lu Jingxi is panicking inside, Jiang Yu's sister holds him up in front of Jiang Yu. "Kitty says, 'Big brother, please let me stay!'"
A man and a cat stare into each other's eyes for a long moment.
Lu Jingxi: "Meow meow meow!" (Get your ass over here and let me stay!)
And so Lu Jingxi begins his miserable life of sucking up to his nemesis, allowing him to pet his head and paw at his paws.
Lu Jingxi: "Meow!" (Just wait till I turn back. I'll smash your stupid face in!)
Jiang Yu: "Do you like me that much?"
Lu Jingxi: "Meow meow meow!" (Go take your medicine!)
Later, Jiang Yu settles Lu Jingxi on his lap and buries his face in the cat's fur.
