At Disheng Entertainment Club, a young man pointed at the pretty girl on the big screen and rubbed his chin suggestively.
"That young star is so pretty and innocent-looking..."
Lu Xing glanced over, then slowly exhaled a puff of smoke, his voice turning icy.
"A woman who lusts after money doesn't deserve to be called innocent." With that, he tossed away his cigarette and strode out, his expression dark.
Everyone in the private room exchanged bewildered looks. After a long silence, someone finally spoke up timidly.
"Xing... Didn't you just buy that young star a seaside villa a couple of days ago? I heard she didn't accept it."
That didn't sound like she was in it for the money at all.
We were never meant to meet. It was all thanks to your money.

Sugar Overload
Su Li's family arranged a blind date for her, with the whole marriage package included.
The first time they met:
Su Li looked at the man across from her, the one rumored to be dangerous. He had a hard, cold appearance and an arrogant air. He glanced up, utterly nonchalant.
"H-hello," Su Li said, ducking her head a little.
Jiang Zhan looked at the girl across from him, now even more sweet and soft than before.
The hand holding his cigarette trembled. His voice stayed cool. "A pleasure."
Everyone said Jiang Zhan had never finished high school and was uneducated, yet he cornered the girl in the school library.
Su Li was trapped between the bookshelves and Jiang Huai's arms.
"D-don't do this..."
"Do what?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Not here at school." Su Li bit her lower lip, her eyes red and wounded, like a little rabbit.
The man pulled a book on economics and management from the shelf behind her, then lowered his head, his voice deep. "What are you thinking, Su Li?"
"Come swipe my card for me."
Blushing, Su Li hurried after him.
Jiang Zhan frowned as he flipped through the book. Beside him, Su Li watched, wanting to say something but hesitating.
Could he even understand a textbook on economics?
"I don't understand it." As if he knew what she was thinking, he held the textbook out in front of her with his rough fingers. His scorching breath suddenly brushed her neck, and the temperature around them seemed to rise.
Jiang Zhan curled his lips into a lazy, slanted smile. His voice rose at the end, teasing. "Teach me, wife?"
#I know romance and moonlight, and I know how to keep you warm and cared for#
Tips: The male lead is puppy-love devoted.
A sweet story about someone who says one thing but means another.
A sweet, doting slice-of-life romance.
Theme:
They're all good, but the ending sucks and the ending is too rushed, ugh⊙⊙
I feel like the heroine is stupid
Why did it end so suddenly?
It's a crappy article that's meant to scam money, tell the truth. I feel like all the chapters I spent money on were in vain.
This ending is not very satisfying
I think it's quite interesting, but the ending is too rushed. A few more chapters would be great, please give it a try?
The ending is a bit short, and the story behind it is a bit cliche. There are many things in it that are not explained clearly. I feel like I was deceived by the copywriting! !
I really feel that the ending is so embarrassing... There are so many holes left unfilled, and I feel bad for buying so many chapters.
I can't stand it anymore, it's too contrived, men do it and women do it too, it's boring
