[Western Crossover] On Love and Infinity

*

I have seen many kinds of beauty beyond ordinary people's imagination. I have seen the wild bustle of the Golden City beneath the Sphinx, and watched stars glimmer close at hand along the edge of a galactic cruise ship. Later, I realized that everything in the past would eventually vanish with time. Carried along by time, I drifted farther and farther from the familiar joys, warmth, and people I held dear.

One day, I heard the goddess of fate ask me: If everything you're experiencing has already been written, would you still be as brave and reckless as you were at the beginning? My answer was

"Even if I foresaw every sorrow, I would still choose to go."

Peace and war, kindness and cruelty, gentleness and violence: all of them are called time. If time has torn reality to pieces, then I will do my utmost to piece the shattered mirror back together.

To all the superheroes I've loved before.
