She Plants Peach Blossoms in the East Sea

On Taodu Mountain in the East Sea, countless ghosts come and go, wreaking havoc in the mortal realm.

The Demon King Lin Yue looked back on her past and felt she had been far too unconstrained and willful. Now she wanted to indulge herself one more time by doing a good deed!

She planted peach blossoms stretching for three thousand li across Taodu Mountain. Whenever a ghost appeared, she gave it a peach blossom to keep it from causing trouble in the mortal realm.

All the ghosts feared the Demon King, so no one dared refuse her peach blossoms.

Later, a little ghost showed Lin Yue no respect at all and, utterly lacking tact, refused her peach blossom.

Lin Yue: "Little ghost, come here."

Fu Xingchen: "Sure, I'll come over. Who's afraid of who?"

Lin Yue, breathless and glistening with sweat: "Pretending to be a little ghost is fun, is it?"

Fu Xingchen smiled. "If I hadn't pretended to be a little ghost, how could I have won a beautiful woman and her flowers?"
