Xu Youxian used to be a junior white-collar worker in finance. After quitting his job, he earned a preschool teacher certificate. At the interview, the local-resident hiring preference somehow landed him the job before he knew what was happening.
After a year of hard but happy teaching, Xu Youxian has finally reached his second Teachers' Day. Teachers aren't allowed to accept gifts, but little handmade trinkets, cards, and flowers from the children are fine.
