[Marvel] The Court of Public Opinion Rules

In the dangerous Marvel Universe,

a genius with a science background

can build armor and weapons, research genetic mutations and radiation, advance the tech tree, and become a superhero.

But the government, society, and media are harder to deal with than supervillains, and you can't just crush them with force when you're a hero.

That's when you might need a genius with a humanities background →v→

There are different kinds of intelligence. Understanding the most abstruse theorems and creating inventions that change the times is intelligence. Seeing through people's hearts, understanding the world, and plotting a course far ahead while chatting and laughing is intelligence too.

Someone who can control people's hearts, public opinion, and society might be the most dangerous of all.

The protagonist this time isn't a psychopath, a bad person, or a good person. He's just really depressed.

As usual, the protagonist isn't quite right. His actions and their results put him on the side of good, but when he's feeling down, he could destroy the world.

Most of the time, he's a refined gentleman who prefers arguing to fighting. He works behind the scenes in an office, doing public relations and the like. A real "weak, bookish type" (not really).

The protagonist is the top, pairing with Tony.

I've only seen the movies, so the story only covers the movie universe, with some original elements.

I'll do my best to avoid OOC moments. If you think I've made a character OOC, feel free to click away. This story won't be monetized; I'm just writing for fun, so read or leave as you please.

I just want to spoil Tony, that's all. I can't promise good treatment for characters who clash with him.

For example, Loki, Bucky, and Captain America, among others.

What I can promise is that they'll stay true to their original personalities, and I won't vilify them. But the protagonist doesn't have much of a moral compass and has cheat-level abilities, so... you get the idea.

I'm giving this warning in advance. If this bothers you, feel free to leave at any time. Don't force yourself to keep reading, get upset, and then come pick a fight.

No fighting, please. I can't be bothered.
