Sakuraba Ren may still be a child, but what he loves most are soft, cuddly little kids. Fox Suke takes advantage of this fatal weakness and sweet-talks him into becoming a Saniwa, promising him lots of cuties. But when Sakuraba Ren steps through the gates of the Honmaru, he discovers that there aren't any children at all! Not a single one! Ren is furious, and Fox Suke is in danger of losing his life. After being urged on by all the powerful figures in the Honmaru, he finally learns that the place is cursed. So, after going to great lengths to break the curse, Ren leads the Honmaru down the path of welcoming cute little ones (and gets chewed on until not even a scrap of bamboo is left).

3. Prepare for angst. I guess it's a replacement trope (things will be sweet until the little Tengu appears, and for a while after that, I swear. They say the deeper the love, the deeper the hate. I don't hate him, but I still want to torment him).
