Eight Thousand Miles of Rock and Romance

An unconventional story about the entertainment industry.

Washed-up rock star vs. dying company chairman with "brain cancer."

Both leads are over thirty, because that's the only age group that came up through the peak of rock in the nineties. (Actually, they're still nearly ten years too young, but let's not nitpick the timeline. It's a bit hard to make men in their forties fall in love.)...

The story features a lot of songs, all covers by the male lead. Please don't try to match them to real people.

I love rock, so I wrote this story.

There are some heartbreaking moments, but it has a happy ending. It's not long, just tens of thousands of words.

Also, I'm trying something new with this story: alternating between the leads' perspectives to tell a complete story, switching with each long chapter (each song). I can't rule out that some people will find it confusing.
