Rabbits Eat the Grass by Their Burrows

Zhao Xiaochui was not yet two when he was abandoned at the entrance to the West District of Qiancheng. An old scavenger, Old Zhao, happened to find him while out early one morning and took him in, naming him Zhao Xiaochui. From a young age, Zhao Xiaochui was carefree and a bit of a goofball, always getting his grandpa Zhao into trouble. When sent out to collect water bottles and soda bottles, if Grandpa looked away for even a minute, he would already be chasing cats and dogs down several streets, creating a huge commotion. He never collected a single bottle, and who knew how many snakeskin sacks he lost. When he was six, a big wolfhound chased him, and he ran, crying and howling, into a grand villa with its gate open. Inside was a beautiful mansion straight out of a fairy-tale picture book, and a handsome little prince. From then on, Zhao Xiaochui started to grow a heart and a brain. He stopped being such a goofball, became much sharper, and never chased cats, dogs, or crickets again. He even changed his scavenging route, spending every day circling the grand villa, eyes shining. Childhood sweethearts. The bottom seems scheming but is actually a bit of a dummy, while the top seems like a playboy but is actually devoted.
