[JX3] The Shield Maiden's Search for Her Family

Yan Li is a shield-wielding loli who lives at Cangyun Fortress in Yanmen Pass.

One day, her mother disappeared.

Some said her mother, Yan Mo, was dead. Yan Li paid her respects to every Cangyun soldier who had returned wrapped in their armor, but found no answers.

Some said her mother had gone undercover. Yan Li asked the sect leader, but got nowhere.

Some said her mother had gone to find her father. Yan Li said that if it was true, then don't stop her from going to chop that scumbag to pieces.

Everyone in the fortress had a different story about where her mother had gone.

So Yan Li took a shield in her left hand and a knife in her right, brought Ding Ding along, and set out south to find her mother.

Along the way, she encountered two fake dads, countless ugly pigs, stupid swordsmen, dazed healers, and poisonous oddballs.

A story born from an overactive imagination, updated irregularly. Everyone besides the main characters is either a friend or an NPC. And don't get hung up on who her real father is. Yan Li is like Momotaro, born from the author's sheer force of imagination.

Premise: A shield-wielding loli travels around the Tang Empire.
