This world has never been short of things that science can't explain.
In China, the official organization responsible for gathering and managing these unscientific beings is called the Administration Bureau.
At least 98 percent of China's ability users are registered with the Administration Bureau, and at least 80 percent of those with supernatural abilities work there. Xi Zining, a rare precognition-type ability user, is no exception.
Compared with other abilities that have simple activation conditions, straightforward processes, or negligible side effects, Xi Zining's ability, "Zhuang Zhou Dreams of a Butterfly," is much more complicated.
No, make that a whole lot more complicated.
Xi Zining is a girl who sleepwalks into Qing-era transmigration fanfiction whenever something happens. She's lazy, but fearless...
Just kidding. She's terrified, okay?!!!
This ability takes brainpower. If she gets her analysis wrong, the whole plan could fall apart from the very beginning, okay?!!!
So Xi Zining very cleverly... retired from frontline work at the Administration Bureau and became an excellent, lazy office worker...
But will things really go the way she wants???
Maybe I'll just go to sleep. Anything can happen in a dream.
Theme: There are no useless abilities, only useless ability users.
