Younger seme, college setting.
A short story about composition major Zhou Zekai, who runs into Ye Xiu while traveling in Dunhuang during a creative slump, then meets him again back at school and falls in love.
In my version, both of them are completely straight. They get along so sweetly that it makes your teeth ache, yet they both think they're just good friends.
Zhou Zekai was down for a few days after returning from Dunhuang. It was true that in his twenty years, this was the first time he'd felt such an overwhelming urge to write music for one particular person. The impulse was inexplicable, yet fierce and passionate. It wasn't just a passing urge to write one or two songs. He wanted to give this person everything. Ye Xiu was like an old man nearing the end of his days, yet also like a warm, vibrant young man. In other words, he was everything in this world. Beneath that slender body lay all the inspiration Zhou Zekai needed to create. Compared to him, what meaning did all the music Zhou Zekai had written before have? It seemed dry, barren, lifeless.
Ye Xiu was his inspiration.
There is no one with good works. I like this style of writing so much. Kswl. It's a pity that it's already 0202 and I can't update it.
Are all straight men these days like this???
