In a post-apocalyptic world ruled by zombies, humans have made deals with some of the advanced zombies who have developed intelligence in order to survive.
I give you blood, and you protect me.
Each person can keep at most one high-level zombie. Everyone feels like they're barely getting by, pinching their carotid arteries and saving every drop of blood.
Only the little beggar Sanwu has a rather unusual situation at home.
Sanwu stares at the zombies crowded together in front of her and taps the pot lid. Impatiently, she says, “How many times have I told you? Line up when you're getting food!”
The zombies tilt their heads and line up.
Sanwu scoops up a spoonful of cabbage.
“Hold your bowls steady!” she says expressionlessly. “Ready... count off!”
“One!”
“Two!”
“Eleven!”
Sanwu angrily throws down her ladle. “What's going on? Why is there one more again? How are we supposed to live like this?”
Besides zombies, Sanwu also keeps a silver-eyed mutant cat with wings as emergency rations.
The cat has a terrible temper. After finally managing to fatten it up, she watches it run away.
Heartbroken over losing her backup food supply, Sanwu thinks she'll never find such a fat cat again. But then, in the middle of a great battle, the legendary big shot spreads his wings and looks down at her from above.
Sanwu: “Those big silver eyes and the pair of wings on your back look awfully familiar. Haven't I petted you before?”
The main story focuses on farming and character growth, with a romance subplot.
The heroine is an odd little girl, no saintly do-gooder. The hero is a catlike man who says one thing but means another. They start out as rivals who love to hate each other, then become a hilarious team.
Also known as The Big Shot Is After Me, Her and Her Zombie Legion, and Raising a Zombie Squad.

Coming soon: The Bottom-Ranking Heroine Has Gone Crazy [Book Transmigration]. Please add it to your reading list.
Jiang Ke, a top science student who hates xianxia novels, is transported into the heroine's role in an old-school xianxia novel.
Jiang Ke cries out in despair: “No! The world of xianxia is all fake! We must defeat all those monsters and demons that defy scientific logic!”
But even more despairing than being in a xianxia world is the fact that this heroine is a sweet little darling, doted on by everyone as she grows up and only interested in romance. For six years running, she's ranked dead last, at number 3,365, on the disciple rankings!
Jiang Ke cries: “How can you think about dating with grades like these?”
Books can be entered, roles can be changed, but nobody gets to come in last!
And so everyone in the sect discovers that their beloved little junior sister has suddenly gone crazy.
Her senior sister brings her favorite little dresses.
Jiang Ke: “No need. Hang a beam from the ceiling and pierce your thigh with an awl. Strength is more reliable than a skirt!”
Her junior brothers bring her favorite makeup and face powder.
Jiang Ke: “Put powder on your face today, and tomorrow you'll grind your head down taking an exam. Take it back. I appreciate the thought.”
Even when the male lead, whom the original heroine had pursued for six years, comes to break off their engagement, she remains unmoved. She takes his hand, tears streaming down her face, and speaks with heartfelt sincerity.
“A real male lead shouldn't be swayed by romance. Focus on strength and plan for the future. Thank you for understanding. Let's work together to turn this romance novel into one with no couples!”
The original male lead: “...” This woman has gone crazy because she couldn't win his love after all.
Please note: The male lead of this novel is not the original male lead from the book the heroine transmigrated into.
The heroine is obsessed with her career and studying. She's captivating without realizing it, and a lifelong ambassador for the iron-willed. If you're interested, please add it to your reading list!
Theme: No matter how cruel the world may be, humanity can always find a glimmer of hope.
I always feel like there are a lot of things left unfinished. I really want to continue watching the interaction between the male and female protagonists?
Let's just say, after two years, I suddenly find that I still have extra episodes that I haven't watched yet?!
Is the ending too hasty?
What a miserable male protagonist hahaha
Still unfinished... This is the end
Is the ending too hasty?
Just like it very much!!! The plot is compact, novel and fascinating. I was very surprised when I read this kind of article for the first time. I thought it would be some kind of high-tech zombie killing, which is a lot of horror. This article has a very warm and cute setting!!! Anyway!!! I love this article so much!! I love you so much!!!
Mom, why did the male protagonist turn out to be such a big boy in the end? Xiongqi ah
The co-authored article is finished, but the male protagonist still hasn't eaten enough meat, oh well.
Finished reading. My wife is great!!!
