Winning Over the Master

Most cat demons are naturally sly and suspicious. Yunchai is a cat demon chosen by fate, with an immortal as her master. Not only is she sly and suspicious, she's also a hypocrite...

Yunchai: "My master is as beautiful as a flower!"

[Inner thoughts]: "That shameless old geezer must be tens of thousands of years old at least. Why does he look so good? Is he trying to seduce someone's kid?"

Yunchai: "My master is noble and aloof! Pure and immaculate!"

[Inner thoughts]: "Hmph! When he smiles, he looks even more like a bewitching demon than I do, and all he thinks about is petting cats!"

Yunchai: "My master would never fall for me!"

Mu Jue closed in on her step by step. "Are you sure?"

A seemingly harmless heroine with a very active inner monologue, and a duplicitous nature, paired with a shameless, scheming master as the hero.
