First-person perspective. This came from a sleepless-night daydream. There's almost no romance, just one-sided feelings, and they get snuffed out as soon as they begin to surface.
Stream of consciousness, lots of rambling. I wrote this for fun, so don't read it if you're short on time.
Please don't use your brain while reading, because the logic in this story will drive you crazy. Thanks.
The views in the story aren't the author's. This is my first submission, so please be gentle with me.
Master Danqing's everyday life raising a child, with lots of laughs between the silly master and disciple. (Don't believe that.)
Main text: As the venerable Mencius said, when Heaven is about to place a great responsibility on someone, it has to put them through some hardships first. Qu Yuan was exiled, Sun Bin had his kneecaps removed, Han Xin was humiliated, and I ran into him.

To move this living obstacle out of my way, I carried him home...
