Reincarnation

Apart from the male lead, who is based on my favorite character, all other characters in this story are fictional.

In her previous life, she let him down in pursuit of medicine and married someone else.

She braved the River of Forgetfulness alone, enduring the bites of countless evil spirits, just so she wouldn't have to drink Granny Meng's soup and could remember her past.

In this life, she searches for him, traveling all across the country.

When she sees him again, he is a popular star, admired by everyone, with a beautiful woman in his arms.

She, on the other hand, is plain-looking and has nothing going for her.

To get close to him again, she goes so far as to change her face with plastic surgery, but unexpectedly becomes an artist at the same company as him.

There's a little angst in the beginning and lots of sweetness later. No third party tries to steal anyone's love.

Feel free to give it a try. It's not long, and the plot moves quickly. I'm no great writer, so please go easy on my average prose.
