Honmaru No. 1 is officially recognized within the Time Government as the hardest Honmaru to deal with, because it houses the true spirits.
Unlike the split spirits that arrive at each Honmaru with maxed-out loyalty, the true spirits of the swords are extremely picky about their "master." Not a single Saniwa has ever won the approval of all the sword spirits, so the position of Saniwa at Honmaru No. 1 has remained vacant to this day.
Until one day, the new Saniwa brought by Konnosuke introduced herself timidly: "I'm Gengetsu. I was created by Sanjo Munechika, who settled in the underworld after his death, under the orders of the goddess Izanami. I am a phantom blade modeled after Mikazuki Munechika, hailed as the 'most beautiful sword,' and forged from the soil of the underworld, flowers from the other shore, and the waters of the River of Forgetfulness."
Faced with the new Saniwa, who looked exactly like a loli version of Mikazuki, all the swords at Honmaru No. 1 fell silent as one: W-we can't refuse!
