I Became a Sect Leader in the Modern World

Du Jing, a powerful cultivator, was bound to a sect-building System and reborn as her own disciple's disciple a thousand years later. She discovered that the sect, once at the height of its power a millennium ago, had fallen into ruin, with only a couple of disciples left. The Dharma-Ending Age: legacies are lost and sects are in decline. First, she needs to improve her cultivation. Her two junior disciples are shocked: "We agreed we'd all be slackers, but you secretly became a god!" Next, she needs to restore the sect's glory. Netizens: "This isn't scientific!" The media: "Feudal superstition returns from the dead? A surge of worshippers seen at a certain Taoist temple!" Trending: "Is the claim that people are cutting back on spending a rumor? Expensive talismans are being snapped up!" Thus begins Du Jing's satisfying rise as sect leader, healer, ghostbuster, and builder of her sect. The only thing that unsettles her is this: where did the vicious great demon sealed beneath the sect go? A certain great demon: "I've been waiting a thousand years for you."
