As a top-tier author, Mo Bei has one very bad affliction: procrastination, also known as terminal laziness.
In short, if he can put something off until tomorrow, the day after, the day after that, or even the very last possible day, then that's exactly what he'll do. There's absolutely no way he'll finish it today.
His childhood friend, editor, fans, and family can all vouch for this.
So when you get hooked on one of his stories, you'll realize how good life used to be. Now all you can do is watch a story you love go without updates day after day, month after month, year after year. How miserable is that?!
But his fans say they don't regret it, because Mo Bei's writing is simply impossible to put down. If they could do it all over again, they'd still jump right into the pit without hesitation.
And so, scenes like this are a regular occurrence:
Original poster: Breaking news! The missing person has returned!
I refreshed a page on some Jinjiang Literature website today and, to my surprise, found that a top author who'd been missing for months had updated! To make sure it was real, I refreshed the page several more times, afraid Jinjiang was playing a "trick" on us...
Comment 1 (NorthNorth's biggest fan): Popping in on the front row. OP must be talking about NorthNorth, right? (⊙o⊙)
Comment 2 (Waiting for your update): The sofa's taken, so I'll sit on the bench. (??皿?`) Is it true? The author's actually updated?!
Comment 10,086 (When will NorthNorth update?): It's true, it's true! There's actually an update~
