Beyond the Limits [Gymnastics]

Sixteen-year-old Wen Xia wins the all-around individual title in gymnastics at the National Games. She assumes there is no doubt she'll make the national team and compete in the Olympics, but, against all expectations, she fails to qualify and is ruthlessly kicked off the provincial team. With no choice, Wen Xia returns to school to prepare for the college entrance exam. Then an invitation that could change her destiny arrives just in time, along with a high-level international gymnastics competition. Unwilling to let her athletic career end like this, Wen Xia boldly sets off alone to compete abroad. Reader's Guide: 1. A no-romance women's gymnastics sports novel, with a growth-oriented heroine and a specialist-event prodigy. There will be failures and setbacks, as well as glory. 2. The setting is fictional. Because gymnastics moves are named after athletes, real-world gymnasts will inevitably be mentioned. 3. Competition rules follow the FIG Code of Points for the Tokyo cycle (please disregard anything that may be inaccurate). 4. Updates are irregular. Theme: 1. Introduce readers to gymnastics. 2. Those who persist and work hard for their dreams will eventually be rewarded.
