Huh? Huh?
Why does this story have such a beautiful disregard for whether its readers live or die?
I want my dears to add it to their favorites!

"Who are you calling a terrible writer!?"
This was the first time Lin Yuanwen met Hui San.
The little girl with braided pigtails glared at him with wide, watery eyes.
One hand held a huge calligraphy brush. Ink dripped down under the pull of gravity, staining her pure white dress.
She hurried over, pulled open a drawer, and took out a stack of practice sheets, looking a little defiant.
"I've got ones that are even uglier here!"
Lin Yuanwen couldn't help flipping through them. The more he looked, the more he wanted to laugh.
He really couldn't understand how anyone could practice calligraphy and end up writing like this.
"Did you just start learning today?"
That hit her like a thousand arrows. The little girl with braided pigtails pouted, on the verge of tears.
"I've been practicing for years."
Lin Yuanwen burst out laughing.
Hui San glared at him, her cheeks puffed up with anger.
"What's so funny? I'm bad at music, chess, calligraphy, and painting. This piece is already pretty good for me."
"How can you be bad at everything?"
The little girl poked around in the water jar, dipped her brush in ink, and went back to practicing.
The door wasn't fully shut, leaving a clear view of Hui San practicing her calligraphy.
More ink stained the front of Hui San's dress.
Hui San's braid hung down onto the table.
Hui San smeared ink across her face.
Hui San, still practicing, suddenly looked up and instinctively glanced toward the doorway.
Their eyes met just like that, completely by surprise.
