[Investiture of the Gods] [Hongjun X Tongtian] Those Who Know Me Understand My Sorrow

Everyone has a different opinion about Tongtian taking in disciples:

Laozi: Junior Brother Tongtian, don't you realize you're lowering the looks of the entire Jie Sect? Master, please save Junior Brother Tongtian's taste in beauty.

Yuanshi: Junior Brother, are you trying to protect endangered animals and open a zoo?

Chan Sect Disciple: They all nod in agreement.

Everyone in the Jie Sect: Eldest Senior Uncle, you're the one lowering the looks! Second Senior Uncle, you're just jealous that our sect leader has so many devoted fans, hmph.

Hongjun: My first and second disciples, stop picking on your third junior brother. Looking after your junior brother is everyone's responsibility.

Laozi and Yuanshi: Master, you're playing favorites!

Tongtian: ...What's wrong with my taste? I just like keeping pets. I enjoy it. So what?

Laozi and Yuanshi: …

Hongjun: Smiles without a word.

1. This idea came to me on a whim after reading the original Investiture of the Gods.

2. This is my first time writing. It's all nonsense.

3. The characters' personalities and such are out of character.

4. I'm writing this for fun. Even though I've read plenty of stories, I can't write romance, so at most it's... flirting?

5. I just made up the names...

6. If this isn't your thing, it's best not to force yourself to read.
