The Blade's Dance

Being with him is like dancing on a knife’s edge.

I’m afraid I’ll fall in love with him.

I’m afraid I’ll hurt him.

I carefully try to keep my balance,

all the while fearing the sharp blade might cut me.

But what’s even more frightening

is that I’m actually still enthralled by this dance.
