Check out my new novel in my profile, The 90s Prodigy Toddler Is a Genius. Here's the blurb:
Liu Yan'ning has the face of a celestial beauty, but she's a bit of a ditz. She fails the high school entrance exam three times, then marries Shen Mu at eighteen. He works at an aviation research institute, and they live in the institute's residential compound.
At nineteen, Liu Yan'ning gives birth to a son, A Bao. He still can't talk at three, and outsiders lament that the prodigy Shen Mu has fathered a foolish son.
When A Bao is just over a year old, he already likes holding books and looking at them, babbling away. Liu Yan'ning doesn't think much of it.
Once A Bao learns to talk, he spends all day bent over, writing and drawing. Liu Yan'ning curiously leans over to look. The paper says R+V-E=2.
She assumes A Bao is scribbling, and gives him a kiss. “A Bao, what's this?”
“It's Euler's theorem, Mom.”
The children his age don't like playing with A Bao. One day, Liu Yan'ning takes him out to buy something and runs into the neighbor's child, Mao Ningning, playing with a toy train.
A Bao quietly tells his mother, “Ningning is a little dummy. He doesn't even know how train brakes work.”
Novel blurb:
Surgeon Jiang You wakes up one morning and transmigrates to the 1980s, becoming a medical school graduate. She's currently waiting for her acceptance letter from the border defense forces.
Pressured to marry, the older single woman reluctantly goes on a blind date. But her match, a man named Su Yuan, triggers a story branch. That's when she learns she's transmigrated into a novel set in a past era, and she's the cannon-fodder female supporting character who loves the male lead, Su Yuan, without being loved in return, turns to crime, and is ultimately arrested and sentenced to life in prison.
After learning the truth, Jiang You decisively keeps her distance from the male lead and devotes herself to medicine. Her extraordinary surgical skills make her the darling of the military unit.
Su Yuan comes from a good family, is handsome, and has everything going for him, but he shows no interest in women and rarely smiles.
One day, Su Yuan stops Jiang You while she's out running and gathers his courage to confess: “Doctor Jiang, I've liked you for a long time...”
Neither of them notices the many hidden eyes all around them. Unable to handle being rejected, Su Yuan takes two steps back, when suddenly a scream comes from beneath his feet:
“Company commander, you're standing on my hand!”
Coming soon: The Tycoon's Terrible Ex-Wife (80s). Please add it to your reading list!
As a trainee reporter at a TV station, Wu Xiaomeng gets a rare chance to observe an interview with a tycoon. On the day of the interview, the TV crew enters the detached mansion of Lu Ye, the newly crowned tycoon, in the city center and meets him in person.
Compared to how he looks on television, Lu Ye is even more handsome and approachable. His face shows almost no signs of age.
Wu Xiaomeng hears a colleague whispering: “Lu Ye is in his forties, so handsome, and still a coveted bachelor. I heard he was married when he was young, back when he was penniless. His ex-wife thought he was poor and ran off with someone else. If she knew Lu Ye had become a tycoon now, she'd be kicking herself...”
After waking up, Wu Xiaomeng transmigrates to the 1980s, into the body of a married woman who also happens to be named Wu Xiaomeng. The original owner is beautiful but lazy and greedy, with a formidable mother-in-law and a sister-in-law who loves to stir up trouble. And the husband who has gone away to do business is none other than Lu Ye.
The original owner has just met a wealthy man from out of town, and the two are plotting to elope. The scandal has stirred up a huge commotion.
Thinking of how her husband will become a tycoon more than twenty years from now, Wu Xiaomeng plans to put up with things and wait to reap the rewards. But her in-laws go too far, so she flips the table and refuses to take it anymore.
After leaving her in-laws, Wu Xiaomeng sets up a street stall on West Street to sell fried skewers. With skin like jade and wrists like the bright moon, she becomes the most eye-catching sight at the entrance to West Street. Customers line up year-round, and even those who arrive early can't get them piping hot.
Her long-absent, nominal husband finally shows up. Wu Xiaomeng is about to drag him to the Civil Affairs Bureau to get a divorce, but Lu Ye suddenly pulls her into his arms and murmurs contentedly, “A Meng, don't leave me again...”
Wu Xiaomeng: “???”
Theme: Patriotism and loyalty
It's so disgusting. Not only Liu Xin, but her father doesn't feel like a good leader either!
I feel that the writing behind it is broken. Liu Xin's ending could be to go to a foreign country, she could meet a scumbag and be cheated of money and sex, but she shouldn't be stuck in thinking about it after that. She should suddenly wake up and have a desire to survive. Of course, this is just nonsense. My thoughts.
This Liu Xin is a psychopath, please log off immediately.
If a man can't protect his own woman, then there is no need to exist.
Does this woman really want face?
I finally left. This place was nothing but trouble. I didn't know anyone in the province and started over.
Very good! Finally together!!
The ending was too sudden and rushed
After reading both books, I felt that the endings were both rushed.
Very interesting, please give me a sequel!
