Those shining eyes sometimes appear in Xu Yiduo's mind on nights when she feels utterly exhausted. They remind her of her childhood, when she could be clingy, willful, and throw tantrums. But the pressures of life more often make her forget that there was once someone like that in her life. Those memories feel like they belong to a past life. When they meet again more than ten years later, it feels like a dream, yet fills her with hope: If he is the person she once knew, how has he been all these years? Does his story include her, too?
