I like this ending. Huolian knows that his father also loves him, and everyone is alive. It's really great.
After staying up all night, I finally finished reading it. It was really well written! By the way, the 2014 modified version of the original poster seems to be locked. Can you please provide a txt version?
I like this fanfic. After searching for a long time, I finally found one that matches the TV series, the characters are well described, and it doesn't break the official CP.
The character of Huolian described in a big way is quite consistent with the TV series. It is really well written.
Falling in love makes people smarter, it's true

Great article! Like!
I don't think this makes sense. Even if Qiuniang has feelings for Huolian and regards him as her own flesh and blood, Fang Xu, that is her biological son, has she not missed him at all in the past twenty years? This is definitely not something a mother would do. Even if the author hates Fang Xu, he shouldn't write about Qiuniang like this.
Competition to recruit a bride? What a child's play! If the winner is an old man or a beggar, wouldn't he also get married? Please, Fang Li is not the kind of woman who makes fun of her life-long events when she is angry.
Oh my god, I missed it again.
