(Note from 2026.7.26: I'm stuck on the plot and can't keep writing. It doesn't feel like what I originally envisioned. I wanted to write an interesting couple, but I may have to put this story on hold. If I do keep writing, I probably won't be able to update regularly, or I might change the setting and worldbuilding. Let this be a lesson to me. I've been holding it in so long I'm practically sick with frustration already. I'm on my knees apologizing to everyone.)
(Note from 8.8: I saw someone asking about this story, so I'm posting it after all. I did want to write this premise, but the first dungeon, Zenin, needs revision, and it would be better to untangle the plot more clearly. So updates are on hold while I revise it, and I'll continue afterward. In any case, I owe everyone an explanation.)
(Note from 9.19: I'm preparing to rewrite the whole story. I hope I can finish it this year. Good luck to me.)
Love-struck nonhuman weapon X career-focused human
Three years after the Crown Prince's death, Shelley, a disillusioned former captain of the royal guard, receives military orders to head to the border's return line and provide support.
Agent N designates him as the operator, pairing him with the Empire's most successful polymorphic weapon, Nirvana.
This new intelligent weapon, with its overwhelming attack and defense capabilities, is incredibly useful.
But Shelley is troubled. He sees Nir as his most loyal battle partner, while Nir seems to have designs on his body.
The first time they met, Nir couldn't keep his eyes off him and licked his neck in front of everyone.
Later, he sneaked out of the surveillance room in the middle of the night, climbed into Shelley's bed, and tried to control and toy with him. He could even transform into a human.
Nir: Taking the form of your own kind will reduce your aversion and wariness.
Shelley: What good does telling me that do?
Nir: It doesn't matter. I'll keep luring you in until you surrender.
Shelley: Your delusions will never come true. We're different species.
Nir: Come on. I've seen your teammates treat their weapons like their wives.
Shelley: They're just talking big.
Nir: Well, I believe it. I want to be your wife!
Shelley: Wait, we're here to fight...
Nir smiles, casually topples a building, and crushes a boss's head.
Colonel, there isn't a dungeon that can't be demolished by force.
And if there is, just use even more force.
Shelley: …
Things keep escalating, and Shelley feels like he's about to be overwhelmed.
But polymorphic weapons are bound to one person at a time, and severing the bond might destroy the other party. He can't get rid of this foolish, brazen, delusional lovesick idiot!
And lately, Nir seems to have learned how to fake an injury to get his way!
This is bad. Shelley is worried he might fall for it!
Pairing: An occasionally scheming but hopelessly obvious, clingy bottom X a kind-hearted, upright, highly capable beauty of a top
Nonhuman, and incredibly powerful! His wife is an invincible golden finger
Theme: Courage is humanity's greatest hymn.
I didn't expect that the teacher would see my comment and re-post this article. The character design of this article is very interesting. In fact, I am looking forward to the follow-up plot, because I have always watched the teacher's Shadow Guard series. I did not expect that this new article is also very delicious. I look forward to the teacher polishing the work better [Lop-eared Rabbit Head]

I'm so tired of reading this. I don't understand many of the settings of this world view. As for dungeons and meteorites, what NPCs are, emmm, and the integration of replication and whatnot. I'm in a mess. I hope you can introduce a little bit about the settings.
Teacher, please keep this update frequency, okay [Spread flowers][Spread flowers]
