This is the first time in my life I've written a serious piece. I'm truly embarrassed.
One day before the Dragon Boat Festival, I was chatting with a classmate in my spare time and thought I should write a story about Qu Yuan and Song Yu. The two were said to be master and disciple, and both used literature to express their principles, yet their circumstances and endings were different. There was plenty to explore and examine, so the idea for this story came to me. It sees the world through Song Yu's eyes.
Ever since Mr. Guo Moruo, scholars have tended to criticize Song Yu more than praise him (perhaps scholars resent people who are good-looking). In this story, I neither criticize nor praise him. Let the story speak for itself.
As for the plot: whenever historical records offered something to work with, I based it on those sources. The records are often complicated and contradictory, so I chose the accounts that best suited the story's development. Speaking of the plot, I'm embarrassed to say I mostly just followed my whims, without much structure. Historical facts also limit how far I can take it (I'm always very meticulous about this), and the ending has to be his leap into the river. (If he doesn't jump, we'll all have to skip our zongzi today.) So there's no roller-coaster plot, just Song Yu's wishful fantasies. I'm embarrassed again. And calling it a romance under “Genre” is embarrassing too. I couldn't think of anything else that fit better.
After leaving the title as “Untitled” for a long time, I finally found a pretty good one: “A Distant Night in Late Autumn,” taken from Song Yu's “Nine Laments”: “How serene the distant nights of late autumn, yet my heart is troubled and filled with sorrow.”
Alas!!! Certain things happened, and I had no choice but to lock the story. Fortunately, not many people were reading it anyway. But why did some people read it?
Well. I suppose I've seen through the ways of the world, so I'll unlock it. Sigh, let things go however they will!
My wife writes so seriously! Come on!
I am also a writer myself. I am really serious about it. Come on~~
Ah, I failed in the exam. . . Mr. Qu Yuan bless me, my Chinese will definitely fail. . . As a result, updates will become slower and slower in the future. Author's reply: orz, Mr. Qu Yuan bless me, I actually passed the test in Chinese... Such incomprehensible questions... That incomprehensible essay I wrote... Bless you, Comrades Li Bai, Huineng, Cao Xueqin, and Zhu Xi. As expected, the teachers in our school love to read ancient-style broken essays. I will continue to criticize you next time. . . (I am very good at this kind of thing.)
I was very touched when I saw my postscript >_<Author's reply: You tell me, Su Qin and Zhang Yi were unlucky enough to be discovered by modern gossips that they were not wearing underwear. How embarrassing...
Great writing =3= Ah, many wonderful things happen after drinking!! HOHO, please update the next chapter soon. I've already started messing around>< PS: It would be better if you could write more psychological descriptions=3=Author's reply: Baby, bad luck. A few minutes after you finished replying, I updated the next chapter... Author's reply: Well, I should think about this matter of psychological description...
You asked me to write a review for you... = = I really can't bear to type a bunch of gibberish, and I really can't bear to see you with such a wretched attitude being treated like this... What am I talking about... =_= Well, I think the two of them moved too quickly. Does that mean we are about to enter the situation? The young man is so nimble with his hands and feet. He looks up at the sky. So let's look forward to the next part. (Although I'm not too looking forward to seeing restricted-rated stuff, since you've written it all...) Author's reply: Yes... Even if I'm bored, how can I let others write comments about me? . . . In fact, I'm not that young, but if some situations don't happen, I won't be able to write about the situation until I die (I'm not young at all at my speed!) Actually... It's not too much... Really...
Haha, shake hands with the author. Recently, I just happened to see a copy of "Myth and Poetry" in the library and looked at the catalog. I found the contents inside to be very good, so I borrowed it. After I borrowed it, I discovered that it was written by Wen Yiduo. Jiong. Then after reading it, I discovered a beautiful 3P relationship. Well, I was reading another book about Chu Ci recently. It further verified this 3P relationship><Because this is not from our Y, it is from Mr. Wen Yiduo!! Ah, by the way, leave me an email address. . . It would be better if we could further communicate with the author. Let's discuss the 3P relationship. This one is loving~~~The author's reply: I'm really happy that someone read this article. . . Well, since no one will read it, I will openly state my email address: foxxylxghyg@hotmail. Com. The address is very long and annoying. In addition, the update speed will be very slow, I have always been busy and lazy. Really ashamed. . . Yes, yes, these are such wonderful relationships, so exciting. . . Hey-hey. . Finally, thank you again for your comment. . .
They are ambiguous. . . . -V-bbb I am also very fond of the ancient text quoted below. . . Author's reply: Right... I just discovered that the things compiled by Mr. Liu Xiang are just a bunch of people's gossip collections... But "Shuo Yuan" is not easy to buy now... According to insiders, it is estimated that it will not be reprinted until 2010... We have so many books to read!
I stared at Nai with watery nose, dear, I am very, very curious about Nai's two reference books -v-The author's reply: Good thing, my nose has dried up... (Others have dried up tears, but my nose has dried up...) The "Book of Songs Plant Illustrated Book" and the "Chu Ci Plant Illustrated Book", I downloaded them from the Internet (I forgot where they came from, it should be easier to find). "Mao Shi Pinwu" is from Shandong Pictorial Publishing House, which is still OK, but in my dad's words: "It is not a vertical layout in traditional Chinese characters, which is not good." There is also "The Romance of Embroidered Figures and Fengshen" in this series, which is also pretty good. By the way, you can go to my Douban to see what books I have been reading recently... Orz
I gaze at the aging you in youth, and your aging words touch my young heart! Author's reply: Sigh... I'm too old... I have to go to the park to play and feel young... The Chrysanthemum Exhibition opens on the 7th, and I'm going to go see it on the 12th... My dad is still weird, saying that you are so excited that you want to go to the park. I said that I feel like I am too old, and it is time to go do some activities...
