After the Rain, the Sky Clears

One-line summary: A sweet romance about a couple who adore and trust each other, and have a baby together. Many years later, Yaer Haiqing returned to the ancient village by the Qing River, but the hillsides were no longer blanketed with the familiar violets of his memories. Those flowers, once blooming in dazzling colors like butterflies, had long since withered in the wind. They were gone for good. A brisk wind swept across the early-spring fields, carrying the sweet scent of plants through the air. Yaer Haiqing watched Qing'er and Xi'er playing in the distance in silence. The little Ye'er in his arms gave a contented burp, shifted slightly, and settled into a more comfortable position before falling back asleep. Yaer Haiqing smiled faintly. His handsome face, usually so sharp and stern, softened into a captivating tenderness, even the firm line of his lips becoming gentle. His memories drifted back along the river of time to a sunlit summer afternoon many years ago. Life had been simple and happy then, making him wish that time could have stayed there forever. ☆ The Ying Clan series ☆ Rain After the Storm is the first main story of the Yin Dynasty, about Tianquan and Yaer Haiqing.
